Spatial Planning Implementation Effectiveness: Review and Research Prospects

The question of how to implement spatial planning more effective is a fundamental but very difficult one and that has been great interest both the academic practical community. However, comprehensive review conceptual models methodological systems for evaluating implementation, existing research results various types implementation evaluation, are yet be presented. study systematically reviews main findings in field from four aspects: analysis, measurement methods, evaluation frameworks methods. This found three distinct evolutionary features this field: (1) concept changes complete rationality limited rationality; (2) methodology simple closed system complex open system; (3) perspective shifts map body behavior. It suggested an important part future lies establishing effectiveness based on single subject who actor process. On basis, micro-influencing mechanisms effects will then explored. Deepening individual level help improve implementation’s effectiveness.
